SEWA Federation partners with MIT, Stanford professors to make filter masks

On the occasion of #WorldMaskWeek, we at SEWA Cooperative Federation have partnered with Hyderabad-based Parisodhana Technologies, and professors at MIT and Stanford, to develop a low-cost, high-quality mask that is made by our local artisans using an SHG-95 filter.

The filtration media used in these masks is tested as per ASTM standards by an NABL Accredited Laboratory for its filtration performance. Buy from our women artisans, support their livelihoods and strengthen local economies. We are also working with our cooperative members to ensure maximum reach of high quality masks to people in need. To get these masks for yourself or support the distribution of these masks to communities without access to them, please reach out to our members at SEWA Kalakruti on Instagram.
